About Rebecca Zima

Rebecca Zima has been practicing criminal law for over 15 years. Ms. Zima graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, in 1990 with her bachelor's degree. She then earned her law degree in 1993 from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. After graduating from law school, she worked as a Deputy Prosecutor in Indianapolis, Indiana for over two years before moving to Jacksonville, Florida.

Ms. Zima has served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit for over twelve years. While with the State Attorney’s Office, Ms. Zima was promoted to a supervisory position and eventually served as a Division Chief in both the Duval and Clay County offices. As a Division Chief, she supervised and trained fellow Assistant State Attorneys while continuing to personally prosecute homicides and DUI fatalities.

Ms. Zima's experience as a former prosecutor is very valuable to you in the face of allegations that you have commited a crime.
